Art director, visual designer

Timeline:
2/2022-5/2022

Client:
LiveRamp

Programs used:
Figma, Adobe Illustrator

LiveRamp’s Sales Kickoff was a critical launching point for the fiscal year, and needed a bold, exciting design that energized sales. The event’s design needed to pay homage to the LiveRamp brand, while also maintaining its own unique look and feel. With the creative director on paternity leave, I was tasked with overseeing the design of the event. One of the biggest challenges of this project was being able to effectively balance this event’s workload while simultaneously supporting the ongoing LiveRamp rebrand.

getting started

Referring to the creative director’s approved design direction, I built out the first major design touchpoint, the website.

I considered the look and feel of the SKO brand and adapted it to the priorities of the website’s functionality. How would it be applied to an agenda? FAQs?

I relied heavily on the bold typography; when layouts prohibited the use of line work, I used contrast and bold text to speak for the brand.

I also followed a disciplined color methodology, using the green for purposeful, bold accents.

End Result

The design layout was extremely well received by the director of web. The web developer was able to easily execute the layout and it served as a great starting point to help build the rest of the SKO brand going forward.

Signage

Once the website was established, I designed and laid out the signage for the event.

I considered how to pay tribute to the LiveRamp brand (making use of the LiveRamp “L”), and made sure to show off imagery of the location, Chicago.

I created templates and worked with the vendors putting the event together to ensure signage followed a consistent look and feel and everything felt fluid.

takeaway

SKO FY ‘23 was a great success that energetically launched LiveRamp sales into a new year. Due to proper time management and the ability to delegate work, I was able to create a cohesive, mature, well-branded event that felt unique and exciting but clearly fell in line with LiveRamps look and feel.
