SKO FY ‘23
Art direction, designer
TIMELINE
February 2022 - May 2022
DELIVERABLES
Web design, signage and enviornment
Design team: Phil Winfield (creative director)
Web buildout: James Redd
I was tasked with overseeing the web, swag, stage environment, and signage of the event.
getting started
Following the creative director’s approved design direction, I built the first major touchpoint, the website, adapting the SKO brand to its functional priorities. I focused on bold typography and contrast when laying out the limited line work, and applied a disciplined color methodology, using green for purposeful accents.

End Result
The design layout was extremely well received by the director of web. The web developer was able to easily execute the layout and it served as a great starting point to help build the rest of the SKO brand going forward.
Signage Design
Once the website was established, I designed and laid out the signage for the event.
I considered how to pay tribute to the LiveRamp brand (making use of the LiveRamp “L”), and made sure to show off imagery of the location, Chicago.
The semi-gridded layout of the design required meticulous typography detailing. By using pre-made Figma comps, I was able to ensure any last minute changes to signage the agency had to make would still appear on-brand and consistent.

Takeaway
SKO FY ‘23 was a successful event that energetically kicked off LiveRamp's sales year. Thanks to strong time management and effective delegation, I was able to create a cohesive, mature event that felt fresh and exciting, while staying true to LiveRamp’s brand identity.
